P. Diddy recently squashed rumors of tension between him and actor Ben Affleck, also Diddy took time to interview Bill O’ Reilly at the Democratic National Convention in Boston.

Though they’ve both dated singer/actress Jennifer Lopez, not only is there no bad blood between Diddy and Affleck, but according to Mr. Combs, the two see eye to eye on political issues.

“No way a woman would ever come between men. I have no problem with him just because we dated the same girl,” Diddy told the E! Channel at the convention. “Right now we are both trying to get involved in the process and get people out to vote.”

Diddy also got a chance to speak with Bill O’Reilly at the convention. Though the conservative talk show host is mostly known as a Hip-Hop hater, he reportedly approached Diddy to introduce himself. Diddy then conducted a brief interview in which the two discussed the importance of voting and the power of the Hip-Hop generation. During the interview, O’Reilly also revealed that he didn’t dislike Hip-Hop, but “the glorification of bad behavior.” He also added that the genre could be very effective if it chose to focus on uplifting and positive messages.

Meanwhile, a flock of Hip-Hop artists including Outkast, 106 & Park’s Free, Black Eyed Peas and many more attended the convention to support the cause. LL Cool J, Missy, Russell Simmons and Jadakiss were scheduled to unveil a new political song geared towards motivating the population to vote. Biz Markie was also on hand and brought out Al Sharpton during his Vote Party. The X-cutioners followed Biz and Lauryn Hill performed a substantial political song only to abruptly leave the stage and never return.
