Roc-A-Fella artist and Philly native, Freeway, is now preparing to introduce his new family, Ice City, to the hip hop mainstream.

The group’s membership is made up of Freeway, Face Money, Bars, Hydro and extended family member Peddi Crack.

The members of Ice City grew up together in Philadelphia and actually began working on their debut album, Welcome To The Hood, before Freeway ever signed with the Roc.

Guest appearances on the album will include Oschino, Joe Budden and the sultry vocals of Shena Grier. The LP also boasts production from Chad Hamilton.

Welcome To The Hood hits stores on August 24.
