Heavy D Becomes a Bad Boy
Industry heavyweight emcee, Heavy D, has signed a ground breaking deal with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy label.
According to allhiphop.com, the Mount Vernon bred rapper/actor will receive 100 percent of the profits from his yet-to-be titled Bad Boy release. That is of course, after the label recoups costs for producing the album, Heavy’s first since 1999.
“Puff and I been friends forever, were family,” said Heavy D. “We had talks about it over the years. Honestly, I have never heard of a deal like this.”
The untitled album is tentatively scheduled for a release in the Fall.
