It would not be America if someone was not offended.

A group of Native Americans are calling for a boycott of CBS due to Outkast’s Grammy performance of the hit song “Hey ya”. Andre 3000 & backup dancers wore Native American attire & featured a smoking tipi as a prop. Andrew Brother Elk, the chairman of the Native American Cultural Center, filed a complaint with the FCC. A spokesperson for the NACC labeled the performance as the “most disgusting set of racial stereotypes aimed at American Indians…ever seen.”

CBS issued an apology, saying the network was “very sorry if anyone was offended by the performance.”
