Noreaga Looking to be a Rich-A-Holic with the Roc - NoreagaSource:

“He’s a cake-a-holic, I’m a work-a-holic, so hopefully together we can be rich-a-holics,” said Noreaga of Dame Dash with the official announcement of his signing to Roc-A-Fella Records.

In the past two years, CEO Dame Dash has been active signing artists, especially signature rappers including Old Dirty Bastard and M.O.P.

“When Jay announced his retirement, I knew it was going to be a test for both me personally and the Roc-A-Fella brand as a whole,” Dash said in a statement. “At that time, and we knew about it way in advance, I started a crusade in our camp to rally the troops and push everyone as hard as I could, from staff to managers to artists. And I went out and got some of the best, preparing for this time. Nore’s the latest. He’s been my man for a long time, and obviously I’m a huge fan. He’s likes the way we get down at the Roc. It’s a natural.”

Nore had been working closely with Roc-A-Fella artist Peedi Crakk in recent months. The Queens Rapper plans to bring his Thugged Out imprint to Roc-A-Fella and is presently prepping a LP he hopes to release this fall.

“I knew Dame for a long time, and he was always getting me involved in movies and whatever else he was doing. We just wrapped the State Property 2 movie. I mean, it’s as if I was already a Roc-A-Fella artist, so it just made sense,” Nore said in a statement. “One thing I’ve always liked and admired about Dame is that he allows and encourages his artists to be entrepreneurs themselves, and you know I’ve got my Thugged Out label so, again, it’s a good fit.”
