Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ annual “White Party” will distinguish itself from other events this year, by presenting attendees with a viewing of a copy of the United States’ original Declaration of Independence.
The copy Combs will show off is owned by legendary television producer Norman Lear.
Lear tours the country with the document, which was signed in 1776, after the United States’ Revolutionary War with England.
Combs’ showing of the document is part of Sony PlayStation 2′s Independence day weekend celebration, taking place at the PlayStation2 Estate in Bridgehampton, New York.
Cam’ron, CEO and chief lyricist of Diplomat Records, has designed his own signature baseball hat for New Era’s 59Fifty “Capture the Flag” limited-edition hat series.
The hat represents Cam’ron to the fullest as it is colored in sparkling purple and pink with the distinguished Diplomats logo on the front.
Each celebrity designer donates a portion of the profits to the charity of the star’s choice, in this case that’s the Cam’s Kids foundation.
Former Three 6 Mafia member Mr. Del is planning to release Mr. Del Presents Holy South Worldwide, his first official full length project since leaving the hardcore Hip-Hop group and converting to Christianity.
Mr. Del, now preaches in Memphis, Tennessee, at the City of Refuge Hip-Hop Church and also heads up the gospel record label Holy South Records.
“The south has always been noted as the dirty south, but we are a people that’s chosen by God whom has washed us with his precious blood and now are declared clean,” Mr. Del said explaining the meaning behind the label name. “So we are not the dirty south, we’re the Holy South.”
The concept of the “Holy South” was born when Del dedicated his life to God in April 2000.
Mr. Del Presents Holy South Worldwide is in stores now.
