LA Laker Shaquille O’Neal dissed VA rapper Skillz on a recent mixtape.
“I don’t care how “mad” your “skillz” is you can’t serve me/You don’t like these, take off my throwback jersey,” Shaq rapped.
Skillz said he can’t figure out why O’Neal was targeting him, but said he would reply next week.

There were rumors floating around this week that Queensbridge rapper Nas was assaulted while in Cincinnati. The official word is that they are false, according to Nas’ camp.
A radio station in Washington, D.C. reported that Nas was assaulted and robbed in Cincinnati, Ohio and was in the hospital recovering. Supposedly the story originated from the Cincinnati Herald, but they have no record of the story.

DJ Doctor Dre’s tenure at radio station Power 105 was revoked and he was shown the door on Friday. Sources say the big man won’t even be allowed to say good-bye to his fans, reports the NY Post. ”We greatly appreciate Doctor Dre’s efforts over the past two years helping us launch Power 105 [WWPR],” said Clear Channel executive Andrew Rosen, who declined to explain why Dre is history. “We wish him well.”
