<p>The release of Jamal &#8220;Shyne&#8221; Barrow&#8217;s album <em>Godfather: Buried Alive</em> has hit a snag, as prison officials claim the incarcerated rapper may have violated inmate rules by doing business from the prison phones.</p>

<p>Black Entertainment Television and Paramount&#8217;s Kings Dominion theme park in Virginia have pulled the plug on their annual College Hip-Hop Fest.</p>
<p>According to a press release, the festival was yanked due to poor attendance. The annual event drew students from nearby black colleges in the area, as well as others up and down the east coast.</p>

<p>A Norfolk, Virginia concert promoter hit Snoop Dogg with a $5 million dollar lawsuit, while the rapper was on stage during a performance at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater on Wednesday.</p>
