MTV is planning to reach out to Hip-Hop listeners with a series of new marketing tactics through the sponsorship of film festivals and car shows.
Recently, MTV2 sponsored The Urban World Film Festival, which showcases urban, ethnic and multicultural films. The network has also sponsored other festivals, car shows and other functions that aren’t directly tied into music.

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has been ordered to pay $35,000 in child support to his son Justin and his mother, Misa Brim.
According to the nylawyer.com, Diddy was also ordered to pay $400,000 in retroactive child support for payments dating from June 2003. The mogul was paying only $5,000 a month before Brim demanded an increase earlier this year.

Two women who filed a lawsuit against Snoop Dogg after being featured on the front cover of “Girls Gone Wild Doggy Style” have settled out of court.
Terms of the settlement were not immediately available and under the terms of the deal, attorneys were not available to comment.
