Atlanta rapper Ludacris has signed on to co-star in a new movie called “Hustle & Flow,” which is produced by Oscar-nominated filmmaker John Singleton.
“It’s about a hustler, a pimp that has a mid-life crisis at the age of 28. He knows there’s no future in being a pimp ’cause he aint even that good of a pimp. So he up and decides he wants to be a rap star,” Singleton told AllHipHop.com.

There were rumors floating around this week that Queensbridge rapper Nas was assaulted while in Cincinnati. The official word is that they are false, according to Nas’ camp.
A radio station in Washington, D.C. reported that Nas was assaulted and robbed in Cincinnati, Ohio and was in the hospital recovering. Supposedly the story originated from the Cincinnati Herald, but they have no record of the story.
